Terms & Conditions


Our Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Chatterboxgifts Ltd. (to include the website www.weddingdesires.co.uk & Wedding Desires catalogue, telephone, fax or written)
Please read through these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing your order. Please also read our privacy policy section regarding personal information provided by you.
These Terms & Conditions may be changed from time to time without notice to the customer. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders.

All orders are subject to acceptance, reasons for non-acceptance may include (but not limited by):

  • Unable to obtain authorisation for payment.
  • Unable to verify the customer details given in relation to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase and therefore have reasonable grounds to support a fraudulent transaction.
  • The customer has provided a billing address that is a P.O.Box.

Chatterboxgifts Ltd. reserve the right to refuse an order without disclosing the reason.

All prices are in GBP Sterling.

All payments are due at time of placing order and orders will not be shipped until Chatterboxgifts Ltd. has recieved cleared Funds.

Shipping Policy

Due to the nature of the goods being sold and some of the weights we are unable to offer a set price for shipping outside of the UK - with this in mind you will be informed of the actual shipping costs once your order has been placed, we will then inform you of this price and request payment - you can then decide whether you would still like to proceed with the order.

Orders within the UK prices will be the price on the checkout - confectionery orders will have a higher P&P due to the weights involved (If ordering large quantities of confectionery please email us for a revised P&P).

Undelivered Items

As of January 1, 2008, any items not delivered need to be notified within 2 weeks of posting, after this time it will be the customers responsibility to make the claim through the Royal Mail. We can supply proof of posting on request.

Returns Policy

In spite of our checks we realise that occasional faulty items get through. Any product with a genuine manufacturing fault will be replaced on a like for like basis only within 7 days of the invoice date (*see exception below).
Goods must be returned by recorded delivery. We reserve the right to reject any return if we consider the complaint to be unreasonable, unjustified, frivolous or of the customers own making.

Returned Clothing

With regards to returned clothing we regret that we cannot exchange any item of clothing due to the wrong size or colour being ordered, so please be certain to order the correct item as it can only be replaced if it is found to have a genuine manufacturing fault.
